Canine Lymphoma

Study Name:

Evaluation of the Phenotypic Characteristics of Lymphoid cells in Dogs Receiving Chemotherapy for Lymphoma

Purposes of the study:

  • Evaluate the cell characteristics in the lymph nodes of dogs who have completed chemotherapy and are considered to be in remission based on lymph node palpation

Primary Eligibility Criteria:

  • Dogs previously diagnosed with large to intermediate cell multicentric lymphoma
  • Has completed standard chemotherapy protocol and is deemed to be in clinical remission based on lymph node palpation
  • Had pre-chemotherapy flow cytometry testing performed
  • Pets must come to CSU for all visits related to the clinical trial

Study Protocol:

  • Dogs will have needle aspirates of lymph nodes performed at one of their standard recheck visits after chemotherapy completion

Owner Responsibilities:

  • N/A

Financial Incentives:

  • Study will pay for the costs the lymph node aspirates and the tests that are performed on them including flow cytometry and PARR
  • No other financial incentives
