The research facility houses 12 laboratories that are specific to cancer related research. They include:

The first floor also houses special multipurpose training and lecture rooms equipped with video presentation capabilities, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite that includes a GE Millenium VG SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) and PET (Positron Emission Tomography). These nuclear medicine capabilities are not currently available elsewhere in the world for veterinary patients. The second floor includes more laboratories, office space, a conference room and administrative support space.
