Musculoskeletal Biology and OncologyThe Musculoskeletal Biology and Oncology Program at the CSU Animal Cancer Center is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and researchers all working on new treatments for bone and soft tissue tumors. This team includes oncologic surgeons, biomedical engineers, cancer biologists, medical oncologists, pharmacologist, a radiation oncologist and other scientists. The collaborate on novel approaches to prosthetics, limb-spare technologies, mechanical interventions, bone and tissue mechanics and allografts. This group of scientists meets monthly and is involved in several collaborative research projects within the group and with outside universities and companies. |
