CSU Animal Cancer Center Clinical Trial

Patient Disease:
Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma

Study Name:
Combined Lomustine and Asparaginase for Treatment of Canine Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma: Frog-002

Purpose of the study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of combining lomustine with asparaginase for dogs with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma

Primary Eligibility Criteria:

  • Diagnosis by biopsy of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma

Study Protocol:

  • Determine eligibility: Physical exam, lab work, documented diagnosis (biopsy)
  • Day 0: Physical exam, treat with chemotherapy and start prednisolone
  • Ongoing rechecks: Physical exam, lab work, chemotherapy, assessments of response through day 84
  • Then one-month rechecks following treatment

Owner Responsibilities:

  • To make and keep all appointments for the study protocol
  • Administration of oral medications at home
  • Commit to completing study protocol and follow up rechecks

Financial Incentives:

  • Asparaginase is provided at no cost
